New project complete!

I guess you could call me a Jack (or Jill ) of all trades, and a Master of none! I love doing a bit of every craft there is, I think. I just completed this colorful cool sweater. It is crocheted and was Oh So Much Fun to do! It is a little girl's sweater, size 5, but I'm thinking it looks a little big for that size. I don't have a little girl to fit it one, so I don't really know. It is meant to be a little wide, so it is even harder to tell.

I hope you find this sweater as cute as I do! Too bad I don't have anyone to wear it.

Wedding Preparations

The wedding of our daughter is sure coming up fast! I am busy working on the 2 little flower girl dresses. I decided to use the Close To My Heart Rosette Ribbon for the trim at the waist. It was a perfect match!

Good Morning, everyone! This is such a beautiful day here. The sun is shining and it is fairly warm. I just finished washing my windows outside and I was really sweating! Nice to know, right? :)

I've been working on a few more cards the last few days. I am already in the mood for Christmas Cards. That is quite different than the last few years! But I have a bit more time now though too.
I saw this card idea in the Close To My Heart idea book and I loved it! I modified it a little bit, because I didn't have everything that I needed to make it the same.

Sorry about the poor quality of this picture.

These two cars are what I had prepared for the gathering that I had last night.

What a wonderful day it is! The weather isn't very warm, but I love the Fall weather! It means more time for crafting!

Although I have gotten quite a bit done this summer while we were camping. Here is a blanket that I did for a friend's little boy. This was still a gift for their adoption, but it was a year and a half late. But he loved it anyway!

It didn't take nearly as long knitting it as I thought it would. But I kept at it pretty steadily, so that helps.

I was pretty impressed when the nearly six year old recipient identified it right away as a Spiderman blanket!

My Favorite place in the house!

I finally took some pictures of my new scrap room. It is definitely still a work in progress, but slowly it is getting to where I want it.
This typewriter was given to me by my Dad. I love it and I think it makes a nice addition to my favorite room.
This shelf was made for me by my Dad. He always did such an amazing job with his woodworking. I will treasure this shelf always.
 My TV corner.
My storage cubes that I bought at Michaels.
My Cricut cabinet.

I really need to do some more organizing in this room. I guess maybe it will always stay a WORK IN PROGRESS!

Way too Long!

I can't believe that I have been such a slacker with posting on my blog. Life got in the way, I guess. But I will try harder to post more often now that I should have more time!

I haven't been doing a lot of scrapbooking lately either. Basically kept my Scrapbooking club going. But I did a layout this weekend (after camping), and I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

The page is very simple, but I think quite elegant.

We went camping this last weekend, possibly for the last time this year. I will miss it so much! Summer is always so short around here. But I sure enjoyed it while it lasted.

I went to join our daughter and grandsons at the roping event that our son-in-law participates in. I got some really nice pictures of the roping and of course, of the boys.

Not sure which world this little guy is in!
I guess chocolate cookies and playing in the dirt are a good combination. At least to get dirty in!

A cute little cowboy!

Thanks for checking out my blog and I will try to keep up a little better!
