Camping Mini Album

I finally finished putting the pictures into this mini album. I started it about a year ago, and now looking at all these camping pictures, makes me long for summer and another season of camping. I hope you enjoy looking at this album, and possibly be inspired to create one of your own. I got my inspiration from this blog:

 Most of the supplies I used were from Close To My Heart. The trees on the front cover were some laser-cut borders I had bought in Cody, Wyoming on our trip a few years ago.

 Lots of little inside pages that are so fun to make.

 The journalling , of course, is yet to be done!

 Little touches that make the page more special...in this case, the holes along the edge of the page.

 It felt a little strange to use some of the shipping boxes that I get my CTMH product in, but I sure love the finished look of the cardboard pages! Goes to show that CTMH is useful in all sorts of areas.

 Paint splatters are also a nice touch for a distressed look.

I think the back cover still looks a little bare. Maybe I will end up adding something to it yet, just not sure what. What are your thoughts?

New project complete!

I guess you could call me a Jack (or Jill ) of all trades, and a Master of none! I love doing a bit of every craft there is, I think. I just completed this colorful cool sweater. It is crocheted and was Oh So Much Fun to do! It is a little girl's sweater, size 5, but I'm thinking it looks a little big for that size. I don't have a little girl to fit it one, so I don't really know. It is meant to be a little wide, so it is even harder to tell.

I hope you find this sweater as cute as I do! Too bad I don't have anyone to wear it. 

Wedding Preparations

The wedding of our daughter is sure coming up fast! I am busy working on the 2 little flower girl dresses. I decided to use the Close To My Heart Rosette Ribbon for the trim at the waist. It was a perfect match!
